H εργασία στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Καλιφόρνιας (1995-2005) περιελάμβανε πλήρες κλινικό έργο που αφορούσε ογκολογικούς ασθενείς σε εξωτερικά ιατρεία και σε νοσηλεία, με πλήρη ευθύνη για την θεραπεία τους καθώς και ανεπτυγμένο πρόγραμμα κλινικής και εργαστηριακής έρευνας, αυτόνομα ή σε συνεργασία. Η κλινική έρευνα αφορούσε τόσο πρωτότυπες μελέτες όσο και συμμετοχή σε πολυκεντρικές μελέτες φάσης Ι, ΙΙ ή ΙΙΙ. Το ερευνητικό ενδιαφέρον αφορούσε την Ανοσοθεραπεία του Καρκίνου, γεγονός που οδήγησε σε διεύθυνση του προγράμματος λεμφωμάτων και έρευνα με το πρώτο μονοκλωνικό αντίσωμα στην ογκολογία, την ριτουξιμάμπη, αργότερα το ibrituximab και την ραδιοανοσοθεραπεία που οδήγησε σε έγκριση του προϊόντος. Αργότερα η έρευνα αφορούσε το μονοκλωνικό μπεβασιζουμάμπη (Αvastin). Ως αποτέλεσμα των ερευνών προέκυψαν πολλές δημοσιεύσεις και ομιλίες ανά την υφήλιο.
2005 Ιδιώτης – Συνεργάτης Ιατρός (Ογκολόγος) Ιατρικό Διαβαλκανικό, Θεσσαλονίκη. Μέλος της Ελληνικής Ομάδας Έρευνας της Ογκολογίας. Παρά την (αναγκαστική) ενασχόληση με την ιδιωτική ιατρική, συνεχίζεται η κλινική έρευνα και η ακαδημαϊκή δραστηριότης, όπως εμφαίνεται και με αντίστοιχες δημοσιεύσεις μετά το 2005, έτος επιστροφής στην Ελλάδα.

2014:  Προεγχειρητική χημειοθεραπεία στην Ογκολογία.  Διημερίδα κατά την οποία αναλύθηκε το όφελος από την χορήγηση χημειοθεραπείας πριν από την ογκολογική εγχείρηση, και παρουσιάστηκαν οι κατηγορίες των όγκων στους οποίους εφαρμόζεται.

2016 :  Το ογκογονίδιο BRAF στον καρκίνο ( BRAF across tumor types)

Διημερίδα κατά την οποία παρουσιάστηκε ο ρόλος του συγκεκριμένου ογκογονιδίου, πως δρα και πως αντιμετωπίζεται σε διάφορους καρκίνου.  Παρουσιάζεται έτσι το φαινόμενο της ογκογένεσης μοριακά και όχι συμβατικά.

2016:   First International Course on Mesothelioma.  Μια διεθνής ημερίδα που εμβαθύνει σε ένα συγκεκριμένο νόσημα και στην σύγχρονη αντιμετώπισή του.

Αντικαρκινική Ενημέρωση: Πρόεδρος του ΔΣ.  Μη κερδοσκοπική εταιρεία που αποσκοπεί στην ενημέρωση του κοινού σε θέματα καρκίνου.  Έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί σειρά ομιλιών στο κοινό της Θεσσαλονίκης και της Βορείου Ελλάδας κατά το διάστημα 2005-2013
